To ensure you are optimizing the performance of your integrated surveillance solution, Milestone offers the ICON service. The ICON assessment will detect performance problems and optimize the operation and function of your hardware and ensure you are fulfilling your surveillance needs.
The ICON service which detects performance problems and suggest corrections involves:
Kickoff meeting to discover the status of the physical security system, and to determine where requirements aren’t being met
- Gathering all historical documentation
- Defining and evaluating existing organizational expectations of the security system
Hands-on professional assessment and documentation of the integrated systems
- Documentation of the existing status of the system and all of its components
- Compilation of all relevant camera specifications and field of view pictures
- Forensic image analysis included
- Documentation of storage system and image processing/video management servers
- Logical and physical network diagram including physical infrastructure status examination
- Documentation of changes made during the optimization process
Objective certification of the entire security system’s configuration and operational status
- Including any and all facets of the physical security system: Lenses, Camera Placement, Field of View, Cameras, Networking, Storage, Servers, Video
Single point of reference for troubleshooting, future modifications, planned changes, and additions to the security system
Knowledge transfer of best practices in maintaining the physical security system and the required operational processes that lead to successful security
Technical disaster backup and recovery plan
Minimize the chance of recurring surveillance system problems
